The BiostreamVIB EZ C7 offers a clear concept that addresses the challenges of limited and costly laboratory space. Its modular design and downwards-opening door allow it to function as a standalone unit on or under the laboratory bench or as part of a stacked system.

Furthermore, the system can be easily expanded in the future to a two or three deck configuration, ensuring adaptability to changing needs.

Chamber all made of stainless steel
The incubator housing, the inner walls of the incubation chamber, the fully encapsulated shaking device and the drive unit are all made of stainless steel and are designed according the Hygienic Design concept.

The newly designed key features modern sensor keys with a separate display field, ensuring easy tracking and keeping the display clean. The menu structure has been optimized by usability experts, offering simple and intuitive operation. The key incorporates numerous features, such as an integrated timer providing additional control and comfort.

Intuitive operation
The key's operating interface has undergone optimization through tests with users, psychologists, and specialists, resulting in an intelligent controller that guides users with targeted feedback responses. This intuitive design allows users to easily switch parameters on and off and change set point values without the need for extensive training.

Precise control and monitoring
The sensor keys are highly responsive to a light touch, ensuring swift interaction. Yet, accidental changes or activations are prevented by the intelligent controller, maintaining precise control and monitoring. The integrated timer also allows for convenient time-controlled adjustments to parameters.

Easy cleaning
The key is safely installed behind a closed surface made from safety glass, facilitating easy cleaning and ensuring a hygienic environment.

Communication
The shaker are equipped with RS 232 and RS485 interface.

Modern double door
The door is constructed with robust safety materials on both the inside and outside, providing excellent insulation capabilities. This enhanced insulation allows the door to achieve temperatures as low as 15℃ below the room temperature(with optional cooling system). Moreover, the door's smooth surfaces facilitate easy cleaning, ensuring convenient maintenance.

The drop-down door
The Biostream VIB EZ B7 system offers several advantages in connection with the shaker chamber. It can be operated "on the bench," "under the bench," or "stacked," providing flexibility in usage.
The drop-down door is cleverly designed to serve as a shelf for the pull-out tray, adding an extra practical element. There is no additional space required compared to a door that is split and opens from the side.
Additionally, all configurations allow the door to support the shaker table when pulled forward, simplifying handling and eliminating the need for costly and complicated tray extraction devices. This design also maintains the operational capacity and accessibility to flasks at the rear.
Furthermore, the system ensures comfortable access to the top unit, with the topmost table at an operating height of approximately 1.3 meters. Even reaching the lowest level is convenient, as users don't have to "crawl inside" the machine; they can simply pull the table forward onto the door for easy access.

Automatic Tray Release
Completely opening the door automatically triggers the mechanism to release the tray, ensuring easy and quick access to your cultivation vessels whenever needed. To reach items at the rear, the whole tray can be effortlessly pulled forward with just one hand.
After use, the tray can be simply pushed back, and the door can be easily closed again.

Specifications

UV sterilization

UV is installed between the rear wall of the housing and the lining of the incubation chamber. The air drawn in by the crossflow fans is fed through this light trap. The UV radiation kills any microorganisms in the air supply. The UV light doesn't reach the culture vessels and sterilization could be operated during culturing.

Humidity

The humidification control unit prevents evaporation and makes for a constant culture volume. Thus the osmotic pressure for cell remains low, even with long culture times and small working volumes (e.g. microtitre plates). Distilled water is dropped onto a hot surface in a controlled manner and the resulting steam is led directly into the incubation chamber. The humidification system does not need to be cleaned due to its completely aseptic design.

Illumination

Used for photosynthesis of plant cells and algae or for other photo tropic organisms. With light inserts, cooling is absolutely critical! The room temperature and ventilation at the installation site must be checked carefully.
